Getting Involved with the Club

There are many ways to get involved in the club today.  Please consider joining one of our committees!  If you're not sure what you want to get involved with or have a different idea, please email feedback@hbswany.org. 


Club Secretary -
Part of the club's leadership team, the secretary has the opportunity to set strategy for the club, with a key role in maintaining and organizing the club's administration.  Also will play broader role in club communications for members and important updates the the community.

Programming: General

Amy Tsui Luke, programming@hbswany.org

Remarkable Women Speaker Series - volunteer to support specific events (i.e., help with check-in, set-up, etc).  Organize an event start to finish.

Career Management Programming - Organize a career panel discussion (Media & Entertainment, Private Equity, Consulting, or one of your choice!)

Behind the Scenes - do you have unusual connections that you'd be willing to tap into for a group of HBS women?  Perhaps back stage access to the ballet, or access to Letterman tickets, etc.  Create a unique event for the community!


Marketing & Membership

Lauren Wagner Boyman

Director, Event Marketing - opportunity to market to potential members at our club events.  Develop marketing handouts, follow-up with event attendees, etc.

Communications Director - Develop direct mail pieces, printed bi-monthly newsletter.  Write club e-newsletter (monthly) with updates on upcoming events.  Write membership emails.

Campus Liaison - Manage relationship with HBS Women's Student Association to maximize our club's visibility on campus.  Manage outreach to graduating alumnae moving to NY area.  Partner with HBS Admissions for HBS Admitted Student event.

Director, Online - Develop and market online tools that will benefit members and encourage membership (job postings, affinity groups, member directory).

Chairwoman, Spring Membership Drive - Develop strategy and implement marketing activities for Spring Membership drive.  Potential activities include email blasts, direct mail, and special programming. 

Other member acquisition strategies?  - Develop and implement ideas to drive membership.
