Located in Pocantico Hills, New York, Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture is a working farm with a mission: To celebrate, teach and advance community-based food production and the enjoyment of fresh, nutritious food.  Stone Barns is at once a classroom and a laboratory, demonstrating what is possible when farmers and chefs work together to grow, prepare and serve local, sustainable and delicious food.

The Stone Barns team will provide us with an intimate behind-the-scenes view of the farm with a one-hour in-depth tour. Learn about Stone Barns Center's methods of raising livestock and growing vegetables sustainably, walk through the greenhouse and growing field, and meet the animals raised on the farm. We will be encouraged to assist with farm chores like egg collecting, clearing a bed in the greenhouse, or feeding the pigs.  The exact activities depend upon what needs to be done on the day of our event. Following the tour, we will gather in the Haybarn for late afternoon refreshments and time to socialize.
