We are very pleased to announce that members of HBSWANY have been invited to participate in a Personal Branding session by a friend, HBS alumna, and a terrific career coach, Sasha Grinshpun. We are very fortunate to have her on the East Coast, and even luckier that she has set aside for us 10 seats in what promises to be a great event this upcoming Monday.

What is Your Story: Crafting Your Personal Narrative

Storytelling isn't just for bedtime or campfires! No matter what business you're in, sharing stories captures the attention of your ideal prospect, customer, associate, employer, donor, etc... You paint a picture with your spoken or written stories that leaves a lasting impression in their mind.

We will be asking the question: How do you stand out in the crowd? What makes you unique, genuine, relevant and compelling? How do you connect your dots so that people know how to help you?

Join Sasha Grinshpun, an executive coach and career architect, at RYC on Mon, 6/21 @ 1.30pm to kick-start crafting personal narrative.  We will have an intense deep dive into personal branding.  Whether you are an entrepreneur, investor, re-entering the workforce, are facing an empty nest, or just trying to make the most of life, you need to clearly understand what makes you different and how you tick differently… and learn how to convey that effectively to others.

BY THEN END OF THE WORKSHOP, YOU WILL:

    •    Complete a Life Audit (understand your themes and dynamic tensions)
    •    Learn how people are perceiving your current story (both first impression and deeper conversation)
    •    Compare your current story to your aspirational story (what you'd like to become is likely very different from how you are perceived today)
